Former Spice Girl alum Victoria Beckham reacted to the idea of becoming a grandmother. Victoria and her English footballer husband David Beckham share sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 18, and daughter Harper, 12, Among their children, only Brooklyn is married to Nicola Peltz which indicates the possible next chapter in her life as well. In a recent interview with Vogue, the model shared the possibility of becoming a grandma. Let’s check out her million-dollar reaction.
Victoria Beckham said it’s not happening just yet
The 49-year-old told the outlet, “Jesus. What?! Woo. Hang on. I don’t think it’s happening just yet, unless you guys know something that I don’t, it’s not happening just yet.”
Moreover, Victoria continues, “The last time I was with [Vogue editor] Anna [Wintour] I was like, ‘Anna, what do your grandchildren call you?’ And she said to me, ‘Anna.’ And I was like, well that is very elegant, so maybe I’ll take that route. But it’s not happening just yet. But, you know, hopefully one day if I am blessed, then that would be wonderful. But we’re not there just yet!”
She then hilariously puts in, “Christ, it’s hot, guys. It’s hot in here! What’s happening?!”
Apart from her future additional role Victoria was also asked what relationship advice she gave to her children. Needless to say, she is ideal for giving such advice because her own married life has been going strong for nearly two decades.
“I think you just gotta be there for them,” she answered the question. “Communication is key and be there to support them, support him and Nicola. I don’t like to offer advice. I’m always just there. Me and David we’re always just there.”
Posh Spice tied the knot with the football legend in 1999 after starting dating in 1997. The couple right after they announced their engagement in 1998 were dubbed “Posh and Becks” by the media.
Apart from her kids, she is an additional source of strength for her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz Beckham. During an interview with Byrdie’s new digital issue, the actress-director said of her mother-in-law, “I love her, and she’s such an incredible, successful woman. How lucky am I that I get to ask her for advice? I’m blessed!”
Whether a little bundle of joy will grace the Beckham house or not, Undoubtedly their current family dynamics seem quite happy and loving.
