From the beauty industry to the film industry, also including the model industry and not forgetting the general trend in simply being attractive in your niche. People everywhere try hard to be more ‘wanted’ and be liked.
But what does being attractive signify? Which people are attractive? People who are pretty or those who are beautiful or those who work out 10 times a day or what about those who are way too clever/intelligent for this world or those who are too kind and generous?
Busted! Turns out, being attractive doesn’t only depend on the attractive person, but on the other person who may find that person likeable. In simple terms, being attractive is very subjective.
It also explains the fact that why some people find certain celebrities more attractive than others! But another aspect that we need to consider is judgment. Yes, some people might judge you for liking a person because they don’t find them considerably charming. But hey! That is okay! You don’t have to change your instincts for someone just because others don’t find them attractive as much as you do.
What does being attractive even signify? And why someone is attracted to me but not to others?
The normal society standards are very blunt. They want a certain figure and have incorporated some characteristic features to qualify people’s attractiveness. What’s the point of measuring something uncountable! It is similar to counting the salt crystals separately or counting stars in the galaxy.
Which really can’t be counted, and there one can’t say that “oh you have cheekbones, you are very charming,” “British guys are wanted because they have an accent!” We can’t really generalize the criteria for the attractiveness of a person. Because people are different and have different curiosities and ideologies coursing through their brain.
In the end, it’s all genetics and your mind tricks. You can’t blame a person for not getting starstruck by your attractiveness.
