Lindsay Lohan Shared She Cried After Find Out Her Son is Watching ‘The Parent Trap’

Lindsay Lohan is already tearing up for her little one. The Mean Girls fame who welcomed son Luai with husband Bader Shammas last year talked about the heartwarming moment with her toddler.  During an appearance on Thursday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show the actress opened up about this moment. Lindsay cried after seeing her son watching The Parent Trap

The 37-year-old revealed she teared up discovering her 7-month-old son watching her The Parent Trap. 

“I started crying because I’m like, he doesn’t even know that’s mommy yet,” the actor shares. “I was like, do I turn it off or do I just, and he was kind of just staring. Because maybe, my voice was still similar to how it was then. So I was like, maybe he knows like a little bit that it’s me because it sounds like me. But it was a really magical moment. I took tons of pictures of it.”

Previously this month, Lindsay gave homage to a popular scene from The Parent Trap on The Tonight Show, she was joined by host Jimmy Fallon for this fun.

In the clip we can see the actress offering Fallon an Oreo to which the host replies , “Sure, I love Oreos.”

He takes a bite of the cookie while turning at her identical made with amazing clever editing as the original. 

“At home, I eat them with peanut butter,” says Lohan.

“That is so weird,” the first Lohan replies while her twin replies while pulling out a full jar of peanut butter out of her purse “So do I!”

The incident made Jimmy awkward saying, “OK, so, I’ll see one of you out here,”

The promo referred to a scene in the 1998 Parent Trap, in which Lohan played a dual role in the popular role.

On top of that, prior to the homage the actress also announced the exciting news that her classic comedies are getting a sequel.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live she announced that she and her Freaky Friday co-star Jamie Lee Curtis will be returning for a second more than 20 years after the body-swap comedy first released in 2003.

Lohan said at the show after host Andy Cohen brought the question about rumors of a sequel , “It is…[but] I don’t want to say too much. And we’re both excited.”
